Municipality launches free mobile pet sterilization clinic in Arroyo Cordero, Argentina

The municipal health department will operate a free mobile veterinary clinic on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at the Plaza del Bicentenario (Arroyo Cordero and Ruta 202). The service, run by the Zoonosis team, offers up to 25 pet castrations on a first‑come, first‑served basis, plus rabies vaccination and deworming for dogs and cats without prior appointments. Residents must ensure their animals have fasted for 12 hours, bring leashes or carriers, and be prepared to keep the pet warm after anesthesia. The initiative is part of a series of decentralized zoonosis campaigns aimed at improving animal health and responsible pet ownership in the district.

Future sessions are scheduled for Thursday, 28 May, at Plaza Malvinas Argentinas (Guatemala and Garibaldi).
