Municipality of Agios Nikolaos expands fleet with five new vehicles

The Municipality of Agios Nikolaos is modernizing its municipal fleet through the procurement of five new vehicles and pieces of machinery. This initiative aims to improve public services and the daily lives of citizens.

The new acquisitions include two small garbage trucks designed for narrow streets, a six-wheel truck with a trailer for the cleanliness service, an SUV for the ‘Help at Home’ program, and a mini excavator for small technical projects.

Funding for these purchases was secured through the ‘Philodimos’ program and municipal compensatory fees. Mayor Manolis Menegakis stated that the goal is the gradual replacement of old vehicles with modern, safer, and more functional equipment to better serve the entire geographic area of the municipality.
