Municipality of South Pelion takes legal action over Zerovchia solar station

The Municipality of South Pelion has decided to take legal action regarding a photovoltaic station located in the Zerovchia area of the Neochori local community. Following a unanimous decision by the Municipal Committee, the municipality will file a criminal complaint against any responsible parties for the failure to implement a judicial decision that mandates the removal and cessation of the facility's operations.

In addition to the criminal complaint, the municipality will file a lawsuit for damages against the owner and operator of the station. The legal action seeks to recover compensation for any damages caused by the operator's conduct and will explore claims to reclaim economic benefits gained from the station's operation. The municipality has appointed a proxy lawyer to manage both legal proceedings.
