Murcia expands ‘Educando en justicia’ program to 214 schools
The ‘Educando en justicia’ program has expanded to 214 primary and secondary education centers in the Murcia region. This year, the initiative includes approximately 20 more schools than the previous academic year, involving over 47,500 students.
Developed by the Regional Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the High Court of Justice of Murcia, and the General Council of the Judiciary, the program aims to increase visibility of the judicial system. It serves as a preventive tool to improve coexistence within schools through dialogue and consensus.
The project features four distinct modalities: the ‘Educational Justice of the Peace’ project within schools, in-person magistrate visits featuring mock trials, online lectures via videoconference, and specific sessions for students in the fourth year of ESO.
