Music festivals conclude 2026 editions in Brașov and Râmnicu Vâlcea

Several music festivals in Romania have concluded their 2026 editions. The Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival featured three nights of performances in Saint John's Square, including sets by the Alfredo Rodríguez Trio, Janiva Magness, and Charlotte Colace. The festival also hosted the launch of Ana-Cristina Leonte’s spoken word jazz album, ‘NOW to NOW’. Preparations are already underway for an anniversary edition scheduled for August 2027.

In Râmnicu Vâlcea, the MusicLover Festival 2026 concluded at the Fețeni Plateau. The final night featured performances by Varer, Leo de la Roșiori, Marcel Ștefăneț & Ethno Republic, and Tudor Deejay. DJ and producer Varer premiered the track ‘Stay Tonight’ and concluded his set with a tribute to grandparents, transitioning from high-energy afro house to a more emotional finale.
