Jazz Concert by Matti Klein Quartet in Chojna Draws Crowds
On 7 August 2026, the Green Square in Chojna hosted a free outdoor concert as part of the "Jazzowe Pomorze Zachodnie" series. The programme featured the Matti Klein Quartet—led by German pianist and Wurlitzer virtuoso Matti Klein, Danish bassist‑composer Anne Mette Iversen, and Polish instrumentalists—and the Aleksander Panek Trio, which presented its own blend of mainstream and experimental jazz.
The event was organised by the Pomorze Zachodnie regional initiative and the Fundacja Generator Sztuki, with artistic direction by Michał Starkiewicz. It aimed to bring high‑level jazz to a historic town setting, offering residents and visitors a summer evening of live music.
