Music from Greece to showcase artists at WOMEX 2026

Music from Greece, the national Music Export Office, will coordinate the Greek delegation to WOMEX 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, this marks the fourth consecutive year of the organization's participation in the international music industry event.

Two Greek acts are scheduled to perform on October 24, 2026. Kadinelia has been selected for the Official Showcase Selection, performing a blend of traditional Greek sounds with blues, rock, and psychedelic influences. Alkyone will participate in the offWOMEX Showcase, combining northern Greek traditional songs with indie folk and cinematic textures.

WOMEX serves as a major gateway to the global music market, hosting over 2,600 professionals from approximately 90 countries, including festival representatives, promoters, and record labels.
