Music scene updates: Concerts and releases announced in Chile and Argentina

Various musical acts have announced upcoming performances and releases across South America.

In Chile, the Cuban group Orishas is scheduled to perform at Gran Arena Monticello on October 23 as part of the Festival Bamba 2026. Sleeping With Sirens will return to Santiago on December 11 at Teatro Coliseo to present their new album, An Ending In Itself. The funk group Los Tetas will perform an all-ages show at Teatro Mauri SCD in Valparaíso on September 5. Additionally, the trio Ariztía will hold a concert at Teatro Oriente on October 17, and the band Anttonias has released the single ‘Espíritu’ ahead of their second album.

In Argentina, the Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire will visit Buenos Aires on November 17 at Teatro Vorterix to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album ‘Crisis’. The local band Carancho is set to perform at Ruda Bar on September 5, while La Tico will celebrate ten years of music at Chili Street Club on September 4.

In the regional scene, Brazilian samba group Grupo Revelação is set to make its Chilean debut at Sala Omnium on October 25.
