MUSKİ conducts water and sewage infrastructure upgrades in Dalaman and Ortaca

MUSKİ General Directorate is conducting extensive infrastructure upgrades in the Dalaman and Ortaca districts. In Dalaman, the agency has manufactured 48,000 meters of drinking water pipelines since 2024. Current efforts include a 1,000-meter renewal project on Celal Bayar Street, with plans to expand to İnönü and Kuzey Çağlayan streets. These upgrades aim to resolve pressure issues and frequent breakdowns caused by aging pipes, particularly in high-rise residential areas.

In Ortaca, MUSKİ is nearing completion of a sewage network installation in the Bahçelievler neighborhood, specifically targeting the 13th and 15th streets. The project will provide sewage services to 65 households, addressing a long-standing issue where high groundwater levels caused septic tanks to fill every few days. This new infrastructure is expected to eliminate the need for frequent vacuum truck services, reduce costs for residents, and mitigate environmental risks by directing wastewater to treatment plants.
