Muthoot Fincorp named BCCI title sponsor for Indian home cricket
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Muthoot Fincorp as the new title sponsor for Indian home cricket. The agreement runs through March 31, 2028, and covers all international series and tournaments played in India, as well as major domestic competitions including the Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The sponsorship extends to various levels of the cricketing structure, including India A, India B, and age-group teams. The partnership replaces IDFC First Bank and is set to begin with the ODI series against the West Indies starting September 27, 2026.
While Muthoot Fincorp takes the title sponsorship, Apollo Tyres remains the lead sponsor of the Indian cricket teams. Other associate partners for the two-season period include SBI Life, Campa, and ChatGPT. Reports suggest the deal may be structured at a base price of approximately INR 4.85 crore per match, covering roughly 35 home internationals, though official final figures have not been confirmed by the BCCI.
