The Fundación Mutua Madrileña will fund five new medical‑research projects in Andalusia’s cities of Seville, Córdoba and Granada, allocating more than €550,000. The initiatives target adolescent suicide prevention using artificial‑intelligence analysis, combined kidney‑and‑hematopoietic‑stem‑cell transplantation, preservation of donor lungs, a non‑invasive test for post‑partum breast cancer, and early detection of the Li‑Fraumeni syndrome.

These projects are part of a nationwide call that selected 21 studies this year, backed by a €2.3‑million fund. Over the past two decades the foundation has contributed €75 million to high‑quality research across Spain, supporting hospitals, research institutes and universities.
