Mutxamel roadworks: Bridge demolished on CV-800 to improve safety

Infrastructure works are progressing on the CV-800 highway in Mutxamel, Valencia. The Generalitat Valenciana has demolished a bridge that previously caused accidents due to its low clearance. The bridge's height limited vehicles to 4.5 meters, failing to meet the standard 5.3-meter requirement.

To replace the structure, a new roundabout is being constructed, with some lanes already operational. The project, which has a budget of 1.1 million euros, aims to improve road safety, traffic flow, and connectivity between the municipality and the A-7 highway. The area handles over 17,300 vehicles daily, including heavy vehicles.
