México Canta 2026 announces finalists after 300,000 live votes

The music competition México Canta 2026 has announced its finalists following a live voting process that garnered over 300,000 votes. The selected Mexican-American participants are Tiffany Galaviz, Joshua Soto, and Rosalba Valdéz.

The first semifinal took place at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The project, part of an integral strategy to address social causes, aims to provide platforms for youth from Mexico and the United States to share musical narratives that strengthen their cultural ties to Mexico without promoting violence.

The grand final is scheduled to take place on September 13 at the Auditorio Nacional.
