Máximo Kirchner declares 11 billion pesos in assets

Argentine National Deputy and Justicialist Party president Máximo Kirchner has filed his 2025 fiscal year asset declaration with the Anti-Corruption Office (OA), reporting a total wealth of 11,085,308,000 pesos.

This figure represents a 33.4% nominal increase of 2,773 million pesos compared to his previous declaration of 8,311 million pesos. While Kirchner reported annual income of approximately 108 million pesos from his salary, rentals, and other sources, the wealth increase was nearly twenty-six times higher than those earnings.

Kirchner attributed 97.7% of the increase—amounting to 2,711 million pesos—to the revaluation of existing assets rather than new acquisitions. This revaluation follows Personal Assets Law criteria and applies to real estate in Santa Cruz and Buenos Aires, as well as corporate holdings in Los Sauces S.A. and Hotesur S.A.

Additionally, the declaration includes approximately 2.85 million USD in deposits and savings, which Kirchner identified as originating from the inheritance of Néstor Kirchner.
