Mykonos: Two arrested for drug trafficking after police seizure
Police in Mykonos arrested two men, aged 37 and 44, for organized drug trafficking. Following an investigation and discreet surveillance, authorities conducted a targeted operation involving searches of a residence, a motorcycle, and two vehicles.
Officers discovered that the suspects were using a parked car as a stash house to hide large quantities of narcotics. Seized items include 365.8 grams of MDMA, 76.3 grams of pink cocaine, and 36.5 grams of cocaine. Additionally, police confiscated 36 non-prescription pharmaceutical pills, 65,900 euros, 125 US dollars, three mobile phones, precision scales, and packaging materials.
The suspects are being brought before the Syros Prosecutor's Office. This operation is part of specialized police actions in the South Aegean region to combat the trafficking and distribution of narcotics.
