Myles Borne loses dual championships at WWE NXT Heatwave

At the WWE NXT Heatwave event, Myles Borne lost both of his championships. Borne and his tag team partner, Tavion Heights, lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to the Vanity Project, consisting of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, after the challengers utilized a stomp/neck breaker combination finisher.

Borne’s losses continued when he defended the NXT North American Championship against Jackson Drake. The Vanity Project assisted Drake in defeating Borne to capture the title. Following the match, Borne attacked Heights with a ‘Borne Again’ finisher after Heights attempted to offer support, signaling a potential split between the former champions.
