Nabil Fahmi appointed Secretary-General of the Arab League

King Mohammed VI of Morocco sent a telegram congratulating Nabil Fahmi on his election as Secretary‑General of the Arab League, praising his competence and promising Morocco’s support for the organization’s initiatives. The king wished Fahmi “full success and prosperity” in leading the body.

The President of the Arab Parliament also congratulated Fahmi, noting the unanimous confidence of member states in his diplomatic experience and strategic vision. The parliament stressed the need for greater Arab coordination to address regional challenges, including the Palestinian cause, and pledged continued cooperation with the new Secretary‑General.
