Nadara Secures €1.2 bn Pan‑European Renewable Financing

Nadara, an independent power producer, closed a pan‑European refinancing of about €1.2 billion (roughly $1.4 billion) to fund a 1.5 GW portfolio of operating wind and solar assets. The deal covers 47 projects – 34 on‑shore wind farms and 13 solar photovoltaic sites – in Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Sweden, Norway and Finland, and is expected to improve the company's financial flexibility and support further optimisation of its renewable business.

Other notable clean‑energy financings were announced at the same time: Spain’s Grenergy obtained €100 million for a 618 MWh standalone battery storage facility in Oviedo; ENGIE India secured around ₹9.8 billion for the 250 MW Khaba Solar Project in Rajasthan; and Greenvolt Power agreed to sell its 57.47 MW Kira solar project in Hungary to Greece’s PPC Group for €64.2 million, with the transaction set to close by the end of 2026.
