Nafplio to host sacred icon of Panagia from Jerusalem

The sacred icon of Panagia of Mount of Olives from Jerusalem is scheduled to arrive in Nafplio on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The icon will be officially received at the Holy Temple of Evangelistria by the Metropolitan of Argolis, Nektarios.

With the blessing of the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos, the icon will remain at the temple until October 6, 2026. During this eight-day period, the temple will host daily religious services, including Matins, Divine Liturgy, and Vespers, providing an opportunity for local believers to participate in worship.
