Nagekeo earthquake relief efforts continue in Nusa Tenggara Timur

Humanitarian organizations and government agencies are providing relief to earthquake victims in Nagekeo, Nusa Tenggara Timur.

PT Etos Kreatif Indonesia and the Yayasan Rintisan Amal Bunda conducted aid activities in Nangadhero and Marapokot villages between September 22 and 24, 2026. Their efforts included distributing 250 food portions, providing free health services to approximately 100 residents, and hosting psychosocial activities for 125 children to support their mental well-being through games and social interaction.

Additionally, the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) distributed 1,000 basic food packages and health check services in Labolewa village. The Ministry also visited the Aeramo Regional General Hospital, which is currently operating out of emergency tents following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Flores a month prior. During the visit, the Ministry provided 200 food packages to the hospital and donated school supplies, including uniforms, shoes, and electronic equipment, to local schools in Anakoli village.
