Entre Ríos Governor promotes investment and EU cooperation

Entre Ríos Governor Rogelio Frigerio is advancing a strategic cooperation agenda with the European Union to boost regional exports and private investment. During a meeting with EU Ambassador Erik Høeg, Frigerio highlighted the province's strong commercial ties with approximately 23 EU nations, noting that the EU-Mercosur agreement provides significant opportunities for exporting honey, eggs, poultry, and rice.

As part of this economic push, the provincial government granted Naiman Foods SA a certificate for the New Investment Incentive Regime (RINI). Located in the Paraná Industrial Park, the company plans to invest over 3.6 billion pesos to expand its production capacity for honey and legumes. The expansion aims to significantly increase honey output from 5,000 to 10,000 annual tons and legumes from 500 to 12,000 annual tons.

Additionally, Frigerio visited La Loma Alimentos to discuss the rice industry, addressing sector challenges such as logistics and energy costs. In Chajarí, the governor inspected the construction of 10 new homes for police personnel, a project managed by the Institute of Autarchic Planning and Housing (IAPV) with an investment exceeding 856 million pesos.
