Ünal Üstel announces new projects to support families

Ünal Üstel, leader of the National Unity Party (UBP) and Prime Minister, has announced a new policy focus centered on “projects that make life easier.” He stated that the government’s priority in the upcoming period will be supporting families by reducing their financial burdens and addressing daily living costs.

Üstel committed to unveiling these specific projects one by one over the next 80 days. He noted that the government aims to provide solutions for issues ranging from education and health to transportation and housing, specifically targeting the rising costs of kitchen expenses and housing installments.

Addressing regional and economic challenges, Üstel cited increasing war rhetoric in the Mediterranean and global economic instability. He defended his administration’s record, claiming that over the last five years, the minimum wage has increased fivefold and per capita national income has reached historic highs. He also emphasized that the government will continue large-scale investments with the support of Turkey.
