Nam Dinh General Hospital undergoes repairs for water leakage issues

Authorities have reported that approximately 20 instances of water leakage and seepage at Nam Dinh General Hospital have been largely addressed. The Ninh Binh Construction Project Management Board No. 2 and relevant contractors are working to resolve remaining issues, with a target completion date of October 2026.

Technical assessments identified several causes for the leaks, including inadequate drainage during heavy rains in late August and early September, debris blocking drainage holes, and peeling sealant on glass doors. To mitigate these issues, contractors have installed corrugated iron sheets in settlement gaps and added overflow pipes to improve drainage capacity.

Additionally, maintenance is being conducted on the central air conditioning system to prevent condensation leaks. Over 30% of the units have already been cleaned and serviced. In the Infectious Diseases Department, workers are also addressing moldy walls caused by the integration of new construction with older existing structures.
