Nana Patekar post-mortem report cites heart attack as cause of death

Post-mortem details regarding the death of veteran Indian actor Nana Patekar have been released. According to reports citing a senior doctor from Goa Medical College and Hospital, the 75-year-old actor passed away on October 8 due to a heart attack.

The medical examination identified atherosclerotic occlusive coronary artery disease as the natural cause of death. Specifically, a blood clot in the left main coronary artery obstructed blood flow to the heart.

When the actor's condition deteriorated, medical personnel performed CPR for approximately 45 minutes, but were unable to revive him. Following his passing, his son, Malhar, received the body, which was taken to Pune and subsequently to the actor's farmhouse in Donje village for final rites.
