NANS inspects Bauchi roads to assess impact on student commuting

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has launched the North-East phase of its Nationwide Federal Roads Project Tour to evaluate how road infrastructure affects student welfare. Led by President Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, the delegation inspected the Jama’are-Azare and Potiskum-Maiduguri roads in Bauchi State.

These specific routes were prioritized because they serve three major institutions: the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi State University, and Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare. The inspection found that the completed roads have improved daily commuting for students and other travelers in the region. NANS intends to continue its assessment across the North-East to identify areas needing improvement and advocate for better learning conditions.
