Nantou World Tea Expo opens with Hakka cultural exhibits

The 2026 Nantou World Tea Expo has commenced at Zhongxing New Village, running from October 3 to October 11. As part of the event, the Nantou Hakka Industry Pavilion has opened, featuring Hakka cultural performances, local food, crafts, and interactive exhibits designed to showcase the history and industry of the Hakka people in the region.

To manage the influx of visitors, the Zhongxing Police Precinct has implemented traffic control and guidance measures. Due to limited parking near the venue, authorities recommend using designated shuttle buses. Shuttle services will operate from the County Baseball Stadium to various points including Children's Park, with extended hours on weekends to accommodate concert attendees. Local bus routes from Taichung, Puli, and Changhua also provide direct access to the site.
