Naples hosts Human Faces art exhibition for cancer awareness

The photographic exhibition ‘Human Faces – Art for Life’ is scheduled to take place at the Maschio Angioino in Naples from October 3 to October 9. Created by Ludovico Lieto and featuring photography by Sergio Goglia, this edition of the project focuses on oncological diseases, cancer prevention, and medical research, with a specific emphasis on breast cancer.

Renowned dancer Roberto Bolle and choreographer Carolyn Smith have joined the initiative as new testimonials. Smith, who has publicly shared her personal experience with breast cancer, will be featured alongside Bolle in the exhibition. The project aims to use visual storytelling to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and the daily work of researchers and doctors, such as Dr. Michelino De Laurentiis of the Istituto Nazionale Tumori ‘Fondazione G. Pascale’.

This initiative, curated by Valeria Viscione and supported by the Municipality of Naples, follows previous editions that focused on disability and inclusion. The exhibition is part of the city's official cultural programming.
