Naples launches ‘Le rotte del Vesuvio’ maritime program
The City of Naples and the Metropolitan City of Naples have launched ‘Le rotte del Vesuvio’, a cultural and tourism initiative as part of the ‘Napoli verso l’America’s Cup’ program. This project is designed to support the organization of the international sailing competition while promoting local mobility, maritime culture, and the metropolitan area's excellence through educational and cultural experiences.
The program offers 10 days of maritime activities starting September 21. This includes seven days of free excursions aboard the motonave Lady Adriana, which is accessible to people with disabilities. These tours will depart from Molo Beverello to explore the eastern coast of the Gulf of Naples, visiting locations such as San Giovanni a Teduccio, Portici, Ercolano, and Torre del Greco. During these trips, passengers can engage in cultural storytelling, music, and historical insights regarding maritime traditions.
Additionally, the program includes three days dedicated to allowing citizens and tourists to watch the preliminary regattas directly from the sea.
