Naples prepares for America’s Cup trials and VELA Cup

The Gulf of Naples is preparing for upcoming sailing events as part of the buildup to the 2027 America’s Cup. In September, the Bagnoli area will host a series of activities including sea trials and training from September 9 to 15. This will be followed by trial regattas from September 22 to 24, and official Race Days scheduled for September 25 to 27.

Additionally, the VELA Cup Procida is set to take place from September 25 to 27. Hosted by the Marina di Procida, this event features a wide variety of vessels, ranging from classic boats and dinghies to pure racers and cruising boats. The regatta aims to provide a competitive environment for all types of hulls through a specialized compensation system.
