Naples schools and university face occupations and raids

A wave of school occupations has spread across Naples, Italy, involving approximately a dozen high schools and the Università degli Orientale. At the Alberti high school, an external raid was reported where unidentified individuals entered the building through windows and climbed walls. During the confrontation, students were reportedly attacked, and intruders used a fire extinguisher to spray the interior, leaving classrooms covered in white powder and smoke.

At the Università degli Orientale, classes at the Palazzo Giusso location have been canceled for October 19 and 20. The university has announced that teaching will transition to online formats to compensate for the disruption.
