Naples to host luminous installation for International Volleyball Day ahead of EuroVolley 2026

The Italian Volleyball Federation will stage a light installation in Naples’ Piazza del Plebiscito on July 7 to celebrate International Volleyball Day. The display, featuring illuminated messages promoting passion, inclusion, teamwork and participation, will preview the city’s role as venue for the opening match of the EuroVolley Men’s 2026 tournament, which is set to turn the square into an open‑air arena for thousands of fans.

The event aims to strengthen the link between Naples and international volleyball and to raise awareness of the sport ahead of the major European championship slated for later in the summer.
