Napoli faces injury updates for Vergara and Buongiorno

Napoli is managing several injury concerns as the team prepares for upcoming fixtures. Midfielder Antonio Vergara is nearing a return following recent physical issues. While he may not be available for the immediate next match, medical staff are monitoring him closely for a potential call-up against Roma. If caution is required, his return could be delayed until the midweek match against Monza or the fixture against Juventus.

In contrast, defender Alessandro Buongiorno faces a much longer recovery period. Following surgery in July for a meniscus injury, he is continuing his rehabilitation process. Current projections suggest he will not return to competitive action before the new year, with a potential comeback targeted for January.
