Napoli manager Allegri rejects Sunderland interest in Anguissa

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri has expressed a firm desire to retain Cameroonian midfielder Frank Zambo Anguissa, despite concrete interest from English Premier League side Sunderland.

Sunderland views Anguissa as an ideal profile to strengthen their midfield due to his experience and technical characteristics. However, Napoli currently considers the player essential to their tactical project for the upcoming season. Allegri has reportedly communicated to the club that the midfielder is ‘untouchable’ because of his ability to contribute to both offensive transitions and defensive stability.
