Napoli close to securing Argentine winger Exequiel Zeballos

Napoli have prepared an offer of roughly €8‑10 million to Boca Juniors for the 24‑year‑old Argentine winger Exequiel Zeballos. The club wants to clear space in the attacking line by completing outgoing transfers before the deal can be finalised. Zeballos has already rejected a €20 million proposal from CSKA Moscow and other interest, stating his desire to join Napoli, the club he idolises.

The Boca Juniors contract expires at the end of the year, allowing a free‑transfer if the clubs reach an agreement. Napoli’s bid was confirmed by Argentine journalist Martin Ribas, who said “Il Napoli ha offerto 8 milioni per Zeballos.” The transfer also raises questions about Zeballos’s injury record – he has missed over 20 % of matches in recent seasons due to various muscle and ligament problems – which Napoli will need to manage if the signing proceeds.
