SSC Napoli faces stadium debates and leadership discussions

SSC Napoli faces significant internal and external discussions regarding its future infrastructure and leadership. President Aurelio De Laurentiis has expressed intentions to move away from the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, potentially seeking a new facility in San Giovanni a Teduccio or a sports center in Qualiano. These plans have met skepticism from club icons like Beppe Bruscolotti and former player Roberto Sosa, who emphasize the stadium's historical and emotional value to the city.

Regarding club management, journalist Paolo Esposito suggests that De Laurentiis has no immediate plans to sell the club, despite rumors, and may eventually pass leadership to his children. On the pitch, coach Max Allegri is reportedly working to optimize the performance of striker Rasmus Højlund following the international break.

Historically, the club celebrates its 84th appearance in the top flight, having secured four Scudetti to date, with De Laurentiis matching the title count of his predecessor, Corrado Ferlaino.
