Napoli Servizi workers to protest precarious labor in Naples

Workers associated with Napoli Servizi, a company controlled by the Municipality of Naples, have announced a protest scheduled for September 15 at Palazzo San Giacomo. The mobilization, organized by the unions FLAICA-CUB and SGB, focuses on the high prevalence of precarious employment within the city's public service sectors, including cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance.

Union representatives argue that essential, continuous city services should not rely on temporary staffing agencies or part-time contracts. They specifically highlighted the use of Humana S.p.A. for various maintenance and cemetery services. The protesters are demanding the internalization of staff, the conversion of part-time roles to full-time, new hiring through public competitions, and the implementation of the minimum wage established by the Campania Region.
