Napoli close to signing Boca Juniors winger Exequiel Zeballos

Serie A club Napoli is in the final stages of a transfer for Boca Juniors forward Exequiel Zeballos. The 21‑year‑old, whose contract expires in December, has indicated he wants to join Napoli and has put other offers on hold. Napoli’s management, led by director of sport Giovanni Manna and president Aurelio De Laurentiis, is preparing an offer of roughly €9‑10 million, with a five‑year deal worth about €1.3 million per season. The deal remains subject to Boca Juniors’ acceptance, as the Argentine club has lowered its asking price from $20 million to $10 million.

Reports also note that Zeballos’ agent has offered Napoli left‑back Julian Aude, a 20‑year‑old with dual Argentine‑Italian citizenship, as an additional option. The club is also working on outgoing transfers to free up squad space. While the move is not yet official, several Italian sports outlets describe Zeballos as “virtually a Napoli player.”
