NASCAR Announces 2027 Superspeedway Schedule for Talladega and Daytona
Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama will host two NASCAR weekends in 2027. The spring event is set for April 24‑25, featuring the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, the ARCA Menards Series and the Cup Series Jack Link’s 500. A second weekend on October 29‑31 will include the Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series The Progress Group 250 and the Cup Series YellaWood 500, a race that often reshapes the playoff picture. Talladega Region President Josh Harris said, “It’s an honor for Talladega Superspeedway to continue to have two race weekends giving our fans multiple opportunities to experience high‑stakes action at this incredible venue.”
Daytona International Speedway confirmed that the exhibition Clash will return on Saturday night, February 13, 2027, under the Wheatley Vodka banner. Speedway President Frank Kelleher described the event as a “special treat” that will serve as a high‑profile appetizer to the Daytona 500, allowing teams to gather drafting data and fans to enjoy primetime racing. The Clash will be run on the 2.5‑mile oval under lights, positioned to avoid conflict with the Super Bowl and to showcase the new superspeedway aero package.
