NASCAR community honors late champion Kyle Busch

The NASCAR community is holding tributes to honor former champion Kyle Busch, who passed away in May from complications related to bacterial pneumonia.

At the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, tributes included a racing night at the Las Vegas Bullring, the renaming of several streets, and the dedication of a memorial rock. Kurt Busch noted that these events provided a sense of closure for his family in their hometown.

A celebration of life is scheduled to take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway following the Craftsman Truck Series Chase race. The event will feature stories and memories from Busch’s widow, Samantha, team owner Joe Gibbs, and various Cup Series drivers including Christopher Bell, Noah Gragson, Daniel Suárez, Kyle Larson, and Austin Dillon. The ceremony will conclude with a performance by country musician Cole Swindell.
