NASCAR community honors late racing legend Kyle Busch

The NASCAR community continues to support the family of racing legend Kyle Busch following his death from pneumonia and sepsis at age 41 in May. Driver Ross Chastain noted that while the paddock remains in shock, various groups are providing both public and private assistance to Busch’s wife, Samantha, and their two children.

In honor of his legacy, Spire Motorsports announced it will run throwback livery schemes during the Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. Driver Rajah Caruth will feature a yellow, black, and silver scheme honoring the first win in Kyle Busch Motorsports history, while Connor Mosack will pilot a vehicle featuring a black and red design commemorating the team’s 100th win.

A celebration of life for Busch will be held at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9 following the Truck Series race. The event will be free and open to the public.
