NASCAR México Series heads to Puebla for regular season finale

The NASCAR México Series 2026 season approaches its eighth round at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed in Amozoc, Puebla. This event marks the conclusion of the regular season and determines which drivers will advance to the Chase.

Rubén García Jr., driving the #88 Canel’s/Logitech G/Mobil 1/Laboratorio Tequis car, currently holds the championship lead. His objective for the Puebla race is to secure enough points to finish the regular season in first place, ensuring a favorable starting position for the title fight.

Local Puebla drivers are also in contention for the final Chase spots. Majo Rodríguez (155 points), Santos Zanella Jr. (153 points), and Santos Zanella Sr. (147 points) currently occupy the 10th, 11th, and 12th positions respectively. Only one of these three drivers will be able to secure a position in the upcoming postseason phase.
