Nason Msoni calls for treason investigations into UPND and Tonse Alliance

All Peoples Congress Party President Nason Msoni has called on the Director of Public Prosecutions to investigate allegations of treason involving both the UPND and the Tonse Alliance. Msoni argued that political leaders must be held accountable under the law and that no individual should be above legal scrutiny.

Msoni expressed concern that ongoing legal proceedings involving individuals such as Makebi Zulu and Brian Mundubile might serve as “sacrificial lambs” in a broader political dispute. He urged the DPP to conduct independent investigations into claims regarding the unconstitutional acquisition or retention of presidential power, asserting that the law must be applied equally regardless of political influence.
