Natal Municipal Veterinary Hospital launches free online consultations

The Municipal Veterinary Hospital of Natal is offering free online consultations for dog and cat owners through the Televet Brasil platform. This service allows pet owners to conduct follow-up appointments, receive veterinary guidance, and check exam results via chat or video calls without needing to travel to the physical facility in the Ribeira neighborhood.

Developed by the Sociedade Paulista de Medicina Veterinária (SPMV), the platform is intended for cases that do not require physical examination or immediate in-person procedures. Administrative director Mauricéia Cavalcante noted that the tool helps streamline follow-ups after consultations, exams, and surgeries.

To access the service, owners must use the Zoom Workplace application and enter the meeting ID 416 985 2707. The hospital, which is linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Environment and Urbanism (Semurb), serves an average of 50 animals per day and has been operational for two years.
