Hungary initiates leadership selection for National Asset Recovery Agency

He cited specific examples, noting that the Batthyány Lajos Foundation received roughly 65 billion forints and the Mathias Corvinus Foundation received 52 billion forints.

In the media sector, investigations continue into the Hungarian Media Service Provider (MTVA) and Duna Médiaszolgáltató. A 482-page document has been released detailing alleged news manipulation at the MTI news agency. Additionally, the media organization is reviewing payments made to former executives following recent structural changes. Records show that former MTVA CEO Dániel Papp received a net 28.1 million forints upon his departure, part of a broader 201 million forint payout to departing staff.
