National Bank of Malawi flies supporters to Morocco for Scorchers' WAFCON success

National Bank of Malawi (NBM) plc, the official sponsor of the Scorchers, facilitated a delegation of customers, business partners, and government officials to travel to Morocco for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The initiative aimed to provide vocal support for the Malawi national women's team during their quarter-final match against Ghana. The delegation included cabinet ministers, members of parliament, and senior bank executives. Additionally, the bank flew out winners of its 'Waku WAFCON' promotion to witness the tournament.

The Scorchers secured a 2-1 victory over Ghana, advancing to the semi-finals of the competition.
