National Geographic Traveler launches ‘Cuda Polski 2026’ tourism plebiscite

National Geographic Traveler has launched the ‘Cuda Polski 2026’ plebiscite, an annual competition designed to promote and honor unique local tourist attractions across Poland. The initiative aims to highlight lesser-known cultural, natural, and historical sites to encourage travel beyond traditional routes.

For this edition, 48 locations have been selected, with three nominees representing each of Poland's 16 voivodeships. From each region, only one winner will be chosen based on public voting. The voting process is conducted online, allowing participants to cast one vote per day for a location in each province.

Notable nominees include sites in the Bieszczady mountains and various locations in the Lublin region, such as Kraszczady, Nałęczów, and the Culture Meeting Centre in Lublin. Voting remains open until October 13, 2026, with the official winners to be announced on October 14.
