National Nutrition Agency corruption: 6 suspects handed over to prosecutors
The Attorney General's Office has handed over six suspects and related evidence to the Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office regarding alleged corruption in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program. The case involves the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period.
The suspects include former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, Deputy Head of Operational Nutrition Fulfillment Sony Sonjaya, Deputy Head of Organizational Development Lodewyk Pusung, and Secretary of the Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation Lalu Muhammad Iwan. Two private sector individuals, Glory Harimas Sihombing and Asep Yusuf Somantri, are also implicated.
Investigations revealed that funds were allegedly diverted through the management of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) via non-professional channels. The case file has been declared complete, supported by evidence from 233 witnesses and multiple experts.
