National Rally of Independents launches election campaign in Morocco

The National Rally of Independents (NRIs) has launched its election campaign in the Casablanca-Settat region, with party leaders expressing ambitions to lead the next government. During a campaign event in Mediouna, party officials emphasized the importance of continuing the reform projects initiated by the current administration.

Mohammed Ghiat, a member of the party's political bureau, stated that the party's goal is to expand the reach of existing reforms to ensure more Moroccan citizens benefit from them. Yassine Akacha, also a political bureau member, noted that the Mediouna meeting saw a large turnout of over 6,000 activists, which he suggested demonstrates the party's readiness for the upcoming elections.

Regional coordinator Mohamed Boussaid called on voters to support the party to reinforce its current trajectory. He described the campaign as a democratic opportunity to renew commitments to citizens and emphasized that the party's strength lies in its track record and its rejection of populism.
