National Rally of Independents leader addresses political responsibility
Mohamed Chouki, president of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), has emphasized the party's commitment to addressing the primary concerns of Moroccan citizens, including health, education, employment, housing, and rural infrastructure such as water, electricity, and roads.
During a party meeting in Aglou, Chouki stated that while the government's social and public policies have placed the country on the right track, the next phase must focus on accelerating progress and correcting existing imbalances. He noted that the RNI does not claim perfection but is prepared to defend its decisions and acknowledge unfulfilled goals.
Chouki also criticized political opponents who attempt to distance themselves from past responsibilities during election cycles, suggesting that the “election fever” causes some to forget their involvement in previous decisions and the challenges faced, such as droughts and global supply chain disruptions. He called for political debate based on ideas and programs rather than personal attacks or defamation.
