The Yemeni National Resistance has announced it has reorganized its forces and is prepared for a decisive military confrontation against Houthi militias. Abdel Nasser al-Mamlouh, the military media director for the National Resistance, stated that the group has completed its repositioning and remains fully prepared to resume operations to reclaim Sanaa and restore stability.
Al-Mamlouh characterized recent clashes on Yemen’s West Coast not as a standard local conflict, but as a regional war directed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. He alleged that Iranian experts and Hezbollah members have been directly involved in managing ballistic missile and drone operations. According to the National Resistance, Iran’s strategic objective is to secure control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait to complement its influence over the Strait of Hormuz, thereby gaining leverage in its international disputes.
Reports indicate that the recent fighting resulted in significant casualties, with claims that Houthi forces suffered over 1,000 deaths. The National Resistance, led by Tareq Saleh, continues to operate with support from the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.
